The WWP encodes an xml:id attribute on the teiHeader element to assist in retrieval. The attribute value should be the transcription number in full followed by the suffix “.hdr” as in the following examples:
teiHeader xml:id="TR00325.01.hdr"
teiHeader xml:id="TR00366.hdr"
This xml:id attribute for the header is in addition to the xml:id attribute on the text element, whose value is simply the transcription number without a suffix.
