WWP The Texts Women Writers Online Teaching and Research

Teaching and Research with Women Writers Online

With the publication of Women Writers Online, the WWP is now seeking to encourage innovative uses of our online materials in research and teaching. We are interested both in work which emphasizes women's writing and issues of gender, and also in projects which engage with the electronic form of this resource and the opportunities it opens up.

The teaching and research projects gathered here are just a beginning. We look forward to expanding this collection and eventually giving it a more functional form as a searchable database. We welcome contributions and we would be happy to discuss new projects at any stage of development.

All materials have been generously contributed by their creators and are presented here for the benefit of other readers. The strategies and opinions expressed in these materials are those of their creators, not of the Women Writers Project.

Selected Syllabi and Teaching Projects

These syllabi and projects have been chosen for their effective and innovative use of women's writing, and particularly of texts from the Women Writers Project collection.

Selected Research and Papers

The projects represented here suggest some of the directions for research with online collections: both innovative uses of the new medium and traditional scholarly investigations.
